Hand poured in Stirling, Scotland using sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax. Our Scottish candles are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Our 100% citronella is a popular essential oil known for its powerful scent and ability to repel insects. The oil is also used in aromatherapy to help improve mood and increase mental clarity.

Citronella is a hardy plant that grows in tropical regions worldwide, and it is especially abundant in Sri Lanka.

The oil is extracted from the leaves and stems of the plant through a process of steam distillation.

Using a wooden wick candle outside can be a relaxing experience as the natural wick creates a soothing crackling sound reminiscent of a cosy campfire. The warm glow of the flame combined with the gentle flicker of the wick can create a tranquil ambience perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Approx. 30 hours of burn time.

Safety Advice:

Candles can create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere as well as add a beautiful aesthetic to a room. However, it is important to use candles safely and responsibly. Here are some tips to help you do so:

  1. Place candles away from flammable materials, including curtains, furniture, and other items.
  2. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
  3. Use a proper candle holder that can contain the melted wax and catch any falling embers.
  4. Extinguish candles when you leave the room or go to sleep.
  5. Trim your candle wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting them so they will burn more slowly and evenly.
  6. Do not move a lit candle.
  7. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
  8. Do not burn multiple candles close together; they can create too much heat and become a fire hazard.
  9. For outdoor candles, make sure they are placed in a sheltered area away from the wind.
  10. Always use caution when lighting and extinguishing a candle.

Following these guidelines will help ensure that you enjoy the beauty of candles without putting your safety at risk.
